BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s manufacturing production index (MPI) in May visited a less than anticipated 3.14% from a year previously as exports stayed slow, the market ministry stated on Friday.

The figure compared to a projection in a Reuters survey for a fall of 4.5% in Might. Output contracted a modified 8.71% year-on-year in April.
